Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and results-driven Insurance Account Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, and providing tailored insurance solutions to meet customer needs. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sales aptitude, and a deep understanding of insurance products.
Key Responsibilities
  • Actively generate new business by identifying and prospecting potential clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive retention and upsell opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to recommend appropriate insurance products and coverage options.
  • Prepare and present customized insurance proposals that align with clients’ financial goals and risk management needs.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and claims teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and regulatory changes to provide accurate information to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in insurance sales or a related sales role.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, including life, health, property, and casualty insurance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant insurance licenses as required by state or industry regulations.
Preferred
  • Experience with consultative selling techniques.

Compensation $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
